What cable do you use for continuous-flex and drag-chain applications?
For moving axes and cable carriers we build with PUR (polyurethane) jacketed continuous-flex cable — oil-, coolant- and abrasion-resistant, rated for 5,000,000+ flex cycles. Conductors use fine-stranded, flex-rated copper so they do not work-harden and break on a reciprocating machine, and we add foil+braid shielding where servo or fieldbus signals run alongside power.
Which connectors do you terminate for industrial automation?
We factory-terminate M8 and M12 circular connectors in A, B, D and X coding with IP67/IP68/IP69K sealing for sensor, actuator and Ethernet links; 7/8" connectors for power; Harting-style rectangular connectors for multi-circuit machine interfaces; and ferrule or terminal-block ends for control panels. All terminations are crimped or molded and tested in-house so installers do not field-crimp on the cell floor.
Do you support PROFINET, EtherCAT and other industrial buses?
Yes. We build network cabling for PROFINET, PROFIBUS, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, IO-Link and CANopen, using D-coded or X-coded M12 connectors and the controlled-impedance, shielded constructions those buses require. IO-Link sensor and master cabling is detailed on our IO-Link cable assembly page.
What voltage and temperature range are your assemblies rated for?
Control and power assemblies are rated up to 600V using 300/600V machine wire, across a -40°C to +90°C temperature range that covers cold-store, outdoor and hot-process machinery. We match insulation and jacket compounds to the specific oil, coolant and abrasion exposure of each machine.
Are your harnesses built to IEC 60204-1 and UL 508A?
We build to IEC 60204-1 (electrical equipment of machines) machine-wiring rules and UL 508A industrial-control-panel practice as a build-to requirement, manufactured under our ISO 9001 quality system to IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship class. We are not a UL panel-builder ourselves — we manufacture wiring and harnesses to those standards so your panel and machine pass inspection.
Can you provide EMC-shielded servo and feedback cables?
Yes. Servo power and feedback (encoder/resolver) cable sets are built with foil-plus-braid shielding and 360° backshell bonding so encoder and bus signals stay clean next to drive PWM switching. We can match a specific drive/motor family’s connector and pinout when you supply the drawing.
What halogen-free or washdown options do you offer?
We offer halogen-free / LSZH insulation for enclosed control rooms and fire-sensitive equipment, and IP67/IP68/IP69K-sealed M8/M12 cordsets for high-pressure washdown lines such as food, beverage and pharmaceutical machinery. Material selection is matched to the cleaning chemistry and pressure on your line.
What is your MOQ and lead time for automation harnesses?
We support prototypes from 1–10 pieces with 7–10 day sample lead times, scaling to production batches (typically 500+ units, negotiable) at a high first-pass yield. This lets machine builders validate a harness on the real cell before committing to volume.
